Jiří Poledníček – digital abstract

2010: Participation in the prestigious art competition „STATE OF CREATION“ held in Luxembourg (www.cultureinside.com) Several hundreds of works by artists from many countries,
including the Czech Republic, participated in the competition. An international jury consisting of experts from around the world chose 24 artists from 13 countries as the winners. The winning works include a digital abstraction …age is minus 2…. by Jiří Poledníček.

Subsequently, two exhibitions will take place, one on the premises of the Chamber of Commerce Luxembourg, the second in the European Commission, Conference Center Jean Monnet Building. An array of significant personalities were invited to the vernissages of both exhibitions, ministers, industrialists, public officers and also the Grand Duke heritier of Luxembourg.
It is certainly the biggest success so far…….

Jiří Poledníček applied the whole register of inspirations of glass-work techniques in modern Photography, in new digital cases. The refusal to depict the  mere reflection of reality and the univocal emhasis of physically experienced knowledge and emotion seems to relax this trend of thought fixed towards symbols towards a sort of esoteric dreams. The artist himself may uncosciously be covering or dimming these meanings and signs. Through this form of expression and gesture in digital techniques he has of course turned to another  kind of estetical communication.

Works of Jiří Poledníček make one understand the unusual stratifying of time which is experienced in an evident and undoubful way  due to the application of mechanical electronic media. The live transmission funkcions synchronously , at the moment. The sekond transmission performs the same role for the third transmission. It is posible to write a new history or a new aesthetics in visual art. Poledníček in visual experiments very seldom uses the timing and quick-switch techniques  of camera. Electronic technology thus ended up becoming , in the roads and hands of artist. The diference between the present time and the passt time in case of live transmission was shorted to minimum in paitings of Jiří Poledníček . According to that principle the arrangement is infinal. Passive imagination is exluded here.

Particulary in combining the intellectual – abstract logical degree of knowledge and concrete sensatory of knowledge in the esthetic, artistic structure, in seeking new dynamic  relations between sensomotor level and reflex level the art of Jiří Poledníček likewise affects  the balance an inner unity of personality. This art plays great funkcion in the satisfying of basic human needs for creative aktivity – sensitivity, flexibility, fluency elaboration, originality etc.

This art shows  „images of thought“.
